Pretties
Pretties
Uglies Series
By: Scott Westerfeld
MY RATING: 5 STARS
Now that Tally has had her operation to become pretty, she has her Pretty friends back in her life and is working to join the group The Crims. Things seem to be going great for her and they enjoy breaking rules to feel "bubbly", that is until someone shows up and reminds her of her time at The Smoke, and she knows what she has to do.
Pretties was even more enjoyable and addicting for me than Uglies was. I wanted to keep reading and reading and have already got the next book in the series because the ending left me wanting so much more. There was action, danger, romance, adventure, and suspense...what more could you want?
I love that this series also touches on many issues that teens face daily: looks, cliques, relationships, friendships, following orders but also knowing how to be yourself. I feel this is a must read for high schools and even those college aged. It really gets you thinking and is such a wonderful book and series. I look forward to reading more.
