Dante West is back in Mistletoe, Maine to film a movie, hoping to help boost the town and make amends with people he hurt years ago. Lucy, is not happy to see him back, after all Dante was her best friend and first love, when he left without a word of goodbye.

No Ordinary Christmas is whimsical Christmas story of hope, second chances, and family. It has the Hallmark or Lifetime feel with moments of laughter and joy without being a cookie cutter Christmas book. The story is light, romantic, and I love that all of the characters have their strong points and their flaws.

Normally I have a hard time getting into stories with the actor or celebrity kind of trope, however, this one just draws you in and sets you up for a wonderful and cozy few hours. There were times that I was upset with different characters, and times I was just grinning from hear to hear (earning some funny looks from my husband laying next to me haha).

The town of Mistletoe sounds beautiful, I truly wish I could go there for Christmas. Author Belle Calhoune wrote it out very well, characters were amazing, and the entire story was bursting with Christmas magic. This book is a great start to a series I know I will love for a long time. I highly recommend No Ordinary Christmas as a fun holiday read this year. I can't wait to read more from Calhoune as her writing is very new to me. So don't forget your hot chocolate and candy canes, snuggle up and enjoy No Ordinary Christmas.
