Sometimes our pasts can keep us from moving on in life and doing the things we want. Small town flower shop owner Becca is comfortable in her town of Sage Creek where there are people who protect her and very little changes happen. However, when a bigger city builder comes into town wanting to start a development, how much change can she stop from happening?

This story was very well written and had so many topics that made it so deep, emotional, funny, and sweet. I couldn't even imagine going through some of the stuff Becca goes through, but I know that many who read this book will be able to relate in some ways. The story was so fresh and wonderful in a great Hallmarky way.

There were tons of those moments that make everyone's hearts melt but enough moments to also make you giggle, tear up, and even just go "why????" But those are the things that make a story amazing.

I loved how the town of Sage Creek felt and made me want to visit or heck even move there. It had the lovely small town feeling where everyone helps each other.

My favorite thing about this story was how it showed how even when very terrible thing happen in your life, you can still overcome it and find true happiness again. I highly recommend this book and I look forward to reading more in this series
