Ginny is now coaching at home after she took in her niece and nephew to raise and can no longer compete towards the Olympics. Alexei is starting over after a breakup with his girlfriend and plans on focusing on work and volunteering, that is until he runs into the one who got away.

Kerry Evelyn's books are new to me and I'm glad this is the one I started with. Love On the Ice is a cute short novelette that introduces the Palmer City Voltage series. It gave me a good idea into the authors writing and I'm very excited to read more of her books. This prequel story is a great one you can read quickly. I read it in about 30 minutes due to the short length, but all 30 of those minutes was wonderful.

The characters were great and I felt Alexei was so adorable, it really added to his personality with how he spoke since English wasn't his native language. The references to Tangled were so fun and added even more adorableness.
