Tiffany has to take a matchmaking test in order to get a promotion. She really doesn't want to use the app though, she does just fine dating all on her own. Drew is trying to find more balance in his life and enjoys working at the apartments. Right before he leaves for a wedding, his best friend makes him use a gift card to Love, Austen and sign up. Then suddenly neither of them was quite sure of things anymore, but maybe that had something to do with podcasts.
Testing Love, Austen is a fun rom-com type book with so many great moments, I can't even choose a favorite. I love the obsessions in it with true crime podcasts, it helps really catch and hook you to the story. The podcast conversations also got me looking at every little detail of the book and double guessing myself at each twist and turn. There were quite a few surprising moments that really made the book that much more enjoyable. It's fun when you can't predict every detail, author Britney Mills did a wonderful job on making you try to guess what's coming next without it being a romantic suspense book.
I loved how much fun chemistry was between Tiffany and Drew. It was enjoyable to see the different characters interact together and all conversations seemed well thought out and added to the story, rather than just being side moments that don't mean much.
This series was new to me, but I will now be going back to read all of the ones before. It is amazing, funny, sweet, and really hooks you in with the small hints of unexpected mysteries. I highly recommend Testing Love, Austen by Britney Mills. So go get a cozy cup of cocoa (or whatever you're preferred drink is), cuddle up, and enjoy this story. You'll be glad you did.
