We are back in Harvest Ranch for a lovely second trip but this time it's about books and Alice. All Alice
wants for her birthday is to kiss Russ and get him to notice her. Shouldn't be too tough right? They are
good friends, she just has to get him to look past a beautiful movie star first.
Once Upon A Library was adorable and made me feel so cozy. Books are one of my favorite things so
how could I NOT fall in love with a story about stories?
The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was Russ. I felt like he had his head in the clouds and there just
wasn't much connection for more than half of the book. However, just like people my opinions changed
closer to the end of the book and I was very pleased with the story, setting, and characters.
If you love libraries, book hunts, clueless guys trying to find the right girl, and bookish girls trying to show
how awesome they are. You will love this book just as much as I do. My absolute favorite thing of this
book is that unlike some girls who just sit back and wait for their happily ever after, she decides to put
on her big girl pants, and make it happen!
*This book is a rerelease of one of Lucy McConnell books in a previous series titles The Lion, Witch,
and the Library. It is also to be noted that this book possibly may not longer be part of the Harvest Ranch
Romance Series. At the time I had read and written my review of it, it was book #2. However, by the
time I set up my blog and went to publish this post, it showed unavailable and no longer part of the
series.*
