In this beautiful inspirational Christmas romance, former Marine Ryan is heading to his sister's wedding, unable to overcome the grief of his best friend not making it home from deployment. His sisters friend Delia, is beyond irritated with Ryan's grumpiness and feels he needs more ambition. Too bad they keep running into each other.
Gifting Love is a beautiful story with inspirational moments, sweet romance, and such amazing families. Everyone has things from their past that they may struggle to move on from, but this story does a beautiful job showing that with the right people, you can do anything and find joy and peace again. It is absolutely the perfect read for this wonderful Christmas week (or anytime during the year).
The back and forth between Delia and Ryan was wonderful. Their bickering kept me giggling and excited to see what would come next. It wasn't all just sunshine and roses, they were realistic and absolutely dreamy characters. I wouldn't change a thing about this book.
I highly recommend this story and I look forward to reading more of this series and more by the author. It is the type of book you don't know you need until you read it. It made me feel so refreshed, comforted, at peace, and honestly helped me see some things from a different perspective. There are many beautiful messages in this book that you won't want to miss out on. So go ahead and get your self (or friends/family/neighbors) a copy of Gifting Love, and gift a little love to yourself or those around you.
