Love, Lies, and Lavender is such a beautiful and heartwarming story by D.E. Malone. Hilary is really reserved at the start, especially when her sister in law Jorie is running behind for a conference at Blueberry Pointe Lodge. I struggled a little with their dynamic between Hilary and Jorie, but as the story went on it worked so well and I loved them!
D.E. Malone did such a great job on this story I could practically smell the lavender through my phone and feel the breezes as I read. It was very intriguing and kept me going. I laughed quite a few times at the different characters personalities, and I cried like a baby at a few spots.
I love how this story showed that just because two things don't seem like they should go together, they may turn out very beautiful and even delicious.
