After Kat lost her sister she ran off hoping to avoid the memories, however, now she is back in Maple Bay for her brother's wedding and is thrown back into the memories of her sister, her family, home, and past relationships, including her high school love she never planned to see again, Creed. He is the type of guy who grew up in a troubled home where nothing came easy, but became like family when Kat's parents gave him work to do and meals to eat. After Kat ran off, they left so much unsaid, but is it too late to fix what was broken?

Second Chance in Maple Bay was such a lovely story. Author Brittany Joy never fails to pull your heart strings, make you smile, and keep you dreaming about life, love, and family. While reading the first book in this series, Starting Over in Maple Bay, I kept thinking about how I would LOVE to hear Kat's story, so I was very happy to have that chance. I truly feel this book, along with this series would be wonderful on screen with Hallmark or Lifetime because there are so many lovely details and you can just feel the emotion through each and every page. Second chances are all about trying again, not giving up, and proving things can work out and be worth it in the long run and nothing shows that better than this beautiful book (literally, just look again at that cover!!) 

If you enjoy second chance romances, horses, and small towns you will be right at home in Maple Bay. My absolute favorite thing about Second Chance in Maple Bay is the way that author Brittany Joy got you to feel like you were truly there with Kat and Creed, I could see everything so clearly in my mind and I didn't want the story to end. I am highly anticipating the next in this series and hope to enjoy Brittany Joy's books for many years to come. 

This book will be released tomorrow (July 13th) and I HIGHLY recommend you all go and get it, e-book is good but I promise you will want a physical copy, her covers are too beautiful.
