Eliza and Cassie are prepping for their grand opening together in Poppy Creek. Things are going well until Grant (Eliza's high school sweetheart) comes back to town for Cassie and Luke's wedding. This is a cute story of Eliza's adventure while navigating owning a business, raising a son on her own, and coming face to face with her past. Things never go quite as planned, but they always work out how it is supposed to in the end.
I absolutely adored this beautiful story by Rachael Bloome. It kept me so in love with the town, characters, and every single page (especially when it came to Tiramisu cheesecake).
From the start of the story I began making guesses and hoping so much that certain things would play out, I couldn't have been more thrilled with the book and will be buying the next in the series right away! I have nothing but positives for this book and all of the delicious treats in it.
