When a detective is chosen to go undercover at a regency themed experience she is less than thrilled, but it is her job and she needs to go in order to protect someone else. However, she is way more in over her than she planned and the trouble that comes is even bigger than her dress she is forced into.

This book was brilliant!! I had it on my shelf and finally it was my next to read. I couldn't put it down. I was super excited with the mystery aspect, then comedy came in, and then realizing it was also romance? It was lovely and a perfect combo of all of them.

I haven't read anything by Jane Austen since high school and while yes this story involves a lot of stuff from Pride and Prejudice, it still made so much sense to me. The story reminded me a lot of Miss Congeniality and was so detailed. I loved being able to picture different actors and actresses in the story as I read. I highly recommend this book and I can't wait to read the next.
